Missed It? Don't Worry - The Barr Group Spring Home Show is just Around the Corner!

Why travel to Grand Designs Live when the Barr Group Home Show gives you all of the home build advice and inspiration you could need, right on your door step?  Don’t worry if you missed this weekend, the Barr Group and friends will be putting on another Home Show in Spring 2017.

The official opening of the newly renovated ‘Of the Moment’ BarrKitchens show room produced a buzz of excitement as people took a peek at some of the latest kitchens trends in situ. Gold, bronze, opulent marble and herringbone sit against traditional joinery to stunning effect.

Meeting and greeting local visitors, as well as one to one consultation bookings, kept our wonderful organising very team busy.  In the background our experts were giving guidance on planning and architecture, financing, construction, renovation and interior design.

Lucy Hillier, BarrKitchens Designer, was able to guide customers through the design and planning process, which ultimately leads to their perfect kitchen. Across the hall Ben Holland of Holland & Green Architects was helping people to understand their space and possible avenues of expansion in order to create a wonderful living space. Financial advisor Katie Foreman of St. James Place was able to give expert advice where required and StuartBarrCDR Construction directors tag teamed to ensure a seamless flow of construction advice and know-how throughout the day.

Many local like-minded businesses jumped on board to support this event. Lassco with all sorts of stunning bits and pieces (pop in to the showroom and have a look). Pretty Like Pictures of Thame lent us the stunning and unusual framed vintage kitchen implements. Little Italy, of Haddenham and beyond, provided the fab vintage ply chairs, Lynsey Harman came up trumps with her amazing bakes (truly out of this world!) and Coffee Ethic kept our guests well fuelled with over 200 cups of organic coffee and hot chocolate (and in doing so providing vital Drugs Link charity support).

Thank you to our friends at What’s Cooking? Newitt’s Butchers, Jon at The Pointer in Brill, Anthony at Lassco and lots of our lovely clients, for putting the word out about the home show for us.  Keeping it local and supporting other local businesses is an important part of the Barr Group ethos.

Please visit us at Field Farm any time - you don’t need to wait until the next home show to take a peek at the new look show room and to have a chat about how we do what we do.  If you let us know when you are coming we can make sure that the right ‘expert’ has time to help!
