Kings Row //
The single storey stone clad extension was designed and built to compliment and contrast the Grade II listed residence against which it sits. The project involved the removal of an existing ‘80s conservatory and replacement with a garden room designed by Anderson Orr Architects, in close collaboration with the property owner. A glazed roof section and feature glass capped well, within the garden room itself, were significant considerations to the build specification. Particular attention was given to the bridging between old and new strutures, in particular the lime plasterwork framing the old stone outer wall and copper faced timber detailing. The matched coursed stone and cast iron guttering are in keeping with the rear facade of the property.
